Jessica Biel is recovering with the sweetest support from her family. The actress, 43, revealed on Instagram that her two sons surprised her with a thoughtful get-well gift while she was under the weather.
In the post, shared on Thursday, Aug. 21, Biel showed off a bouquet of sunflowers wrapped in brown paper.
Taped to the outside was a handwritten note on a napkin that read, “Get Well Soon Mommy! We Love You!” decorated with small hearts.
Alongside the photos, she wrote in the caption, “My kids are the best.”
Biel shares her children, Silas, 10, and Phineas, 4, with husband Justin Timberlake.
The couple, who married in 2012, usually keep family life private, making the glimpse into their home all the more special.
Timberlake has previously spoken about the importance of letting their kids grow up outside the spotlight.
During a 2021 appearance on the Armchair Expert podcast, he explained, “I try to be conscious of making sure we can live a life where we’re not weirdly private.”
“But we’re conscious of making sure they can be kids for as long as possible and not have the weight of somebody else treating them differently because of something that their parents do,” she added.
Biel’s health scare comes just weeks after Timberlake faced his own medical challenge.
Earlier this month, PEOPLE reported that the singer was diagnosed with Lyme disease after struggling with unexplained symptoms for months. A family source said,
“He’s not 20 anymore. But when his symptoms worsened, he realized something deeper was going on.” The insider added that finally having a diagnosis “brought clarity to a series of unexplained issues that he’s been quietly dealing with.”
Through it all, Biel and Timberlake appear to be leaning on each other and their children, with their boys stepping up to make sure their mom feels loved while she gets back on her feet.
