Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift have collided two unlikely industries together – sports and pop music and its worthy of celebration.
The 35-year-old pop superstar has finally witnessed her song Begin Again come to life, as Kelce literally has “a picture of her in his office downtown.”
The Kansas City Chiefs turned the lyrics true as they honoured the Eras Tour performer by displaying a large-sized picture of Swift and the tight end hugging each other at the last NFL season.
Chiefs reporter Harold R. Kuntz showcased the updates in the Hall of Honor at Arrowhead Stadium, and included the Grammy winner’s picture in his report.
The picture is from the field in Las Vegas after the Chiefs earned a victory over San Francisco 49ers and Swift ran into her boyfriend’s arms to celebrate.
The Anti-Hero hitmaker has earned her place on the field, not by playing any sport but being an amazing sport as she attended the games to support her beau.
Swift’s influence increased the percentage of female football fans and Swifties, which previously didn’t much care about the sport.
This comes after the Lover songstress is also rumoured to be taking the Super Bowl stage for the halftime performance, which would be her first time to do so.
While it still remains to be announced, the moment could become an iconic one for the pop culture as Swift will be up on the stage while Kelce plays on the field.
